My last blog post was on April 27 this year. It has a fair bit of dust collecting on it now that we're in the middle of August. The main reason is that I've been preoccupied with something that I wasn't allowed to talk about (and still kind of can't).
CoveritLive has a new strategic investor. They are also a tremendously important partner on a number of fronts to help us gain distribution and turn on revenue generation but I'll provide details on that, when, you know, I can provide details.
The biggest short term impact of the negotiation process is that CiL did NOT turn on our expected pricing strategy that I had spoken to a few of you about in person. I'd apologize, but since you continued to get the product for free, let's call it even. More seriously, I know there are large numbers of CiL users out there who love our product (and love telling me what else they want) and want to see us around for a long, long time. Revenue generation is the piece that you all know we need, and have seen no evidence of it yet. Worry not. It's all good and next week, I can finally explain why. I promise all of you will very much like what I have to say.
In the interim, we've been upgrading a bunch of small things in the software that you may not have noticed yet....I'll point them all out in an upcoming newsletter.
Anyway, thank you all for your patience. It will be worth it (I promise). Speak to you next Tuesday.
